1 used surplus CZ 83 .380 auto handgun with one 12 rd magazine. Refinished slides with Dura Blue. The rest of the firearm has original finish. Overall good condition. Some of the magazines have some rust. The mags are in good overall condition. These were sold to me as fair condition. That is the overall surplus grading

, and that was due to wear on the slides. The rest of the firearm, I grade good overall condition, maybe a bit better than that. However if you decide to remove the Dura blue finish, which is similar to a spray on type paint on the slide, then the slides condition should go back to the way it was IMHO, but some original bluing left could be affected.(?) dunno if that will happen or not. That depends on what is used to remove the dura blue finish I suppose.

Personally, I like the way they look now with the refinished slide with black dura blue finish I sprayed on dura blue following the instructions. These are quality surplus used CZ83 handguns! They do need to be inspected by a gunsmith prior to shooting, just like with any used firearm. Some customers may be able to inspect the firearm themselves to determine if it's safe to shoot, however, I recommend taking it to a Qualified gunsmith anyway!
