Lee's Mags complies with all local, State and Federal Laws that apply to firearms and all products that I sell.
If a customer wishes to purchase a firearm, you need to know all applicable laws where you live, as well as all applicable State and federal laws and regulations.
You will have to provide me a licensed firearm dealer to perform the firearm transfer, and you must fill out a Federal form 4473 and pass the FBI NICS Background check, and your FFL dealer will transfer you the firearm. Please be aware your dealer will charge a transfer fee for this service. You must find a willing firearms dealer to do the transfer prior to placing the order, and have them email me a file copy of their ffl with your name, email and phone number to [email protected] or [email protected] prior to you placing the order

A guide to purchasing firearms online
This section was created to clarify a few details and help better define the process of purchasing a firearm online so you know what to expect when you ‘pull the trigger’ on your next firearm investment. No matter where you live within the United States, we must ship your firearm to a Federal Firearm Licensed Dealer (FFL Dealer). Don’t forget to check all local and state laws prior to placing any order. You must be at least 21 years of age to purchase a handgun, stockless shotgun, complete AR or AK receiver, or stripped lower receiver. You must also be a legal resident of the state in which you wish to transfer the firearm (The only exception to this would be active duty military personnel).
Arrange the Transfer with an FFL Dealer
- Arrange the transfer with an FFL Dealer (You will use this dealer as the shipping address when you place your order).
- Contact the dealer and let them know you would like them to receive a firearm for transfer from Lee's Mags.
- Provide the FFL dealer with our contact information so they can send a copy of their FFL.
- Ask about the transfer fee. Usually FFL dealers will charge a small fee in order to take care of the background check and 4473
- You, or your FFL dealer must email me a file copy of FFL license right before placing an order, for every order!!! My email is [email protected]. or [email protected]. Please have your FFL dealer email me a file copy of their FFL right before you place order, so I know what FFL dealer to ship the firearm too. Preferably the same day.
- Create an account or log in.
- Add product(s) to cart.
- Select FFL Dealer as the shipping address.
- Review and submit order.
Watch the tracking information that I provide you. Once the order has arrived at the FFL dealer of your choosing, call your FFL for a good pickup time.
In order for the transfer to be approved, your FFL Dealer is required to have you fill out a 4473 and pass a background check through NICS. This is the same form and background check you would complete if you purchased a firearm in any gun store. Once you pass the background check, you are free to take your firearm home!

- You must agree to follow my firearm purchase instructions to purchase a firearm, and actually follow the simple procedure.

- If you are an FFL dealer and you want to make a purchase and you want it tax exempt, you must email Lee, and I will change your account to tax exempt, but you will still need to verify it doesn't charge you sales tax. If it does, contact me before you place an order, not afterwards! I will straighten it out. I cannot refund sales taxes! [email protected] I do not offer dealer prices I do not use a computer program for FFl records. I use a physical file cabinet. I DO NOT KEEP DEALERS FFL's ON A COMPUTER FILE BECAUSE I DO NOT HAVE THE SOFTWARE. I DO NOT USE COMPUTER SOFTWARE FOR FIREARMS RECORD KEEPING. Thank you. I use physical file cabinets and log books, not a computer program to do my firearms record keeping. I know that's old school, but that is how I do it.
- If your ffl dealer does not want to give you a file copy of their license, they can email it to me right before you place an order. Just make sure they email it to me before you place the order, along with your name and what your buying, so I know where to ship it. Thank You. [email protected] or [email protected]
- It is your responsibility to verify I received your dealers ffl file copy via email. Just because you or your dealer sent it, does not mean I received it.
- You need to email me and verify that I received the ffl file copy, before placing the order. Not afterwards. Thank you!
- My home based gunshop is open an appointment only basis and prices for everything are on a Price on request only basis!! Do not expect my online prices at my gunshop!
- MY shippers charge a adult signature fee 21 years or older that is required for shipping firearms. It's $6.99.
FYI: If you are a business and want your orders to be tax exempt you need to email me and let me know that prior to placing an order to avoid being charged sales taxes. I can't refund sales taxes, so make sure, your account is set up to tax exempt prior to placing order if you are a business.
