These mag pouch are grubby but beautiful when washed. I hand wash three times they still have a her Renda’s order at sat outside for two months still order is on godly gave it a machine wash put it back outside. still a foul odor that will knock the stink off a skunk. It is very much a sin that these things can not be deodorized because they are a beautiful denim. I keep dryer sheets in the patch pocket after every wash also douse with Febreze once a week the whole time. What I’m gods name makes the stench of a thousand dead go away? This is gonna go in trash or just keep hangin on the tree out back. I moved it to a tree over the weekend because I couldn’t stand smelling this thing anymore every time I walked by my shed. Over it. Damn rating gets negative stars due to the stench but they are fine if you need to smell like the living dead.
****Lee's response. Its used military surplus, Yeah its going to smell. I disagree that the odor cant be neutralized.
One quick google search gave me a list of methods to get rid of odor.
The material these pouches are made of, absorb/ wick up stinky mildew smell, and it gets trapped in and stays, but can be neutralized/ removed. The methods the reviewer used, drier sheets and febreeze with all due respect, cover up the odor, and not designed to soak into fabric and neutralize/remove the odor.
